Bahrain Mirror: Families of Sitra Island voiced their support for the statement of senior Bahraini clerics and stressed in a statement that the Shiite sect, the main and indigenous component of this nation, is targeted in their very existence, identity, beliefs, rituals and [religious] duties.

Below is the statement:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

May Allah's peace and prayers be upon Prophet Mohammad and his Householders

We, families of Sitra Island, announce that we voice our support to the senior Bahraini clerics and announce as they said "we as a main and indigenous component of this nation (the Shia component), we are now strongly convinced that we are being targeted in our very existence, identity, beliefs, rituals and [religious] duties."

Thus, we announce that we pledge allegiance to the clerics and that we fully support them.
