Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Public Prosecution said that it interrogated a number of persons for assembling on a main road in the Diraz area. Reports say that they are only Shia worshipers who intended to attend the congregational prayers at a mosque in the area, besieged by the Bahraini authorities since last month.

Activists stated that the number of citizens, apprehended when leaving the Diraz town, reached over 50. They were transferred to the Al-Budaiya police station. They were only determined to perform the Friday prayers, the activists added.

According to a statement issued by the head of the Northern Governorate Prosecution, the Public Prosecution also "ordered the arrest and summoning of the remaining known suspects for interrogation over the charges raised against them, [...] and refer the defendants to trial."
