Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Court sentenced two Bahrainis to ten years in prison and revoked their citizenship over terrorism-related charges.

The court convicted the suspects and sentenced one of them in absentia over the charge of "receiving training on the use of weapons and explosives with the purpose of carrying out terror attacks in Bahrain".

The authorities intensified their trials against dissidents, in particular Shia, in the kingdom that is witnessing sporadic unrests since the suppression of February 2011 movement.

The jurisdiction has issued many sentences since that time and revoked citizenships of Bahraini who were convicted of violence charge, which is the charge usually brought forth by the regime against "terrorists".

The Bahraini authorities have revoked the citizenships of more than 300 Bahrainis and expelled 7 of them since 2012, as reported by the two Bahraini activists Jawad Fariooz and Yousif Al-Muhafda.
