Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Interior Ministry announced on Thursday (November 10, 2016) the death of one of its officers during training. The Ministry did not give any further clarifications on the reasons behind her death.

In a statement, the Ministry said, "The Ministry of Interior mourns the martyr of duty, deputy sergeant Sarah Hamad Khalifa, who died while performing her duty during training."

Bahrain hosts training events for security apparatuses of the Gulf region, in order to "simulate terrorist threats". The Ministry did not specify whether the deceased was killed during these training or not.
