Bahrain Mirror: Various areas in Bahrain witnessed angry protests on Thursday (February 9, 2017) after the Ministry of Interior announced killing 3 detainees trying to flee Bahrain by sea.
Protesters denounced the killing Rida Al Ghisra (29 years old), Mahmoud Yahya (22 years old), and Mostafa Abedali (35 years old), by shooting them while the Bahraini security coast guards pursued them in their boat east of Bahrain.
Moreover, protesters raised banners and shouted slogans condemning Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, whom they held accountable for the killing crime. They also held photos for the three martyrs.
Regime forces attacked protests staged in Bani Jamra (Al Ghisra's hometown) and other areas, and fired scattergun bullets and teargas canisters at residential areas.
The Ministry of Interior had announced that it killed three Bahrainis in an exchange fire after it asked them to stop.
