Khalifa Al-Fadhel Appointed as NIHR Secretary-General

Bahrain Mirror: The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) announced that it has appointed Khalifa Ali Al-Fadhel as its Acting Secretary-General. Al-Fadhel will be tasked with developing the work of the NIHR's Secretariat-General in accordance with the NIHR's strategy and work plan.
NIHR said in a statement that Al-Fadhel enjoys distinguished human rights and legal record and experience. He holds both a PHD and a Master's degree in Public International Law from the University of Leeds, the United Kingdom, and has a law degree from the University of Bahrain.
