Local Newspaper: New Promotions in Judicial Sector to Include more than 40 Judges

Bahrain Mirror: Local Bahraini newspaper Akhbar Al-Khaleej said that there is a huge wave of promotions that included more than 40 judges, adding that these promotions will enter into force after the next Official Gazette issue is published.
According to the newspaper information, the promotions included 25 judges who were promoted to assistant secretaries at the Supreme Civil Court of Appeal, and an attorney general at the rank of an assistant secretariat in the Supreme court of Appeal.
Moreover, the daily noted that promotions also included the appointment of two judges at the religious Supreme Court of Appeal (Sunni division). It added that four judges of the religious Supreme Court of Appeal (Jaafari division) were also promoted, while four others were assigned in the same court. Also, three judges were also assigned in the religious high court (Jaafari division), the newspaper also added. Furthermore, a new judge will be assigned to be a deputy for the Public Prosecutor.
