Local Newspaper: Information Ministry Filed Criminal Lawsuit against Al-Wasat Newspaper

Bahrain Mirror: Local Bahraini Al-Ayyam newspaper, owned by the King's media advisor Nabeel Al-Hamar, said that the Bahraini Ministry of Information filed a criminal complaint against Al-Wasat newspaper on Sunday ( June 18, 2017).
The newspaper did not explain the reasons behind filing the lawsuit.
It further highlighted that "the Public Prosecution received the complaint and is taking action regarding the case's investigations."
The ministry issued an order to shut down the paper (June 4, 2017) until further notice.
