Man who Attempted to Smuggle 1 Kg of Drugs through Airport Arrested

Bahrain Mirror: The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced the arrest of a man who attempted to smuggle 1 kilogramme of Shabu through the Bahrain International Airport. The narcotic was originally from Iran and worth about BD 250,000.
He said that the Anti-narcotic Directorate was tipped-off about a plan of a drug dealer in Iran to smuggle Shabu to Bahrain in cooperation with a Bahraini citizen. The investigation led to the identification of the trafficker, and he was monitored by the anti-narcotic teams. He was arrested at the airport, and the drug was confiscated.
