Interior Ministry Arrests Mohammed Khalid's Son while Trying to Leave Country, Accuses him of Spreading Information that Harms Personal Lives of Others

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Interior Ministry said it had arrested Ayman, the son of hardliner Mohammed Khalid, on charges of leaking information via social media, affecting the personal lives of others.
The Ministry quoted the director-general of the Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security General Directorate as saying: "Ayman Mohammed Khalid Ibrahim, 20, was arrested as he attempted to leave the country after he abused a means of communication, leaking data and information via social media sites that target the personal lives of others.
He explained that the Anti-Cyber Crimes Department, based on its duties, began its search operations and investigations, which resulted in specifying the identity of the defendant, adding that after the issuance of an arrest warrant, he was taken into custody.
The Director General pointed out that the legal procedures are being completed in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
