NHRA Shuts Down Int’l Hospital of Bahrain until Further Notice

Bahrain Mirror: National Health Regulatory Authority suspended the services of International Hospital of Bahrain until further notice with an agreement with its owner. All the internal sections of the hospital were closed, inducing that operations, X-Ray, laboratory and external clinics, until guaranteeing the needed maintenance that conform with the conditions and standards that should be available in health institutions.
Chief Executive Officer of National Health Regulatory Authority Mariam Al-Jalahma stressed that the shut down will continue until guaranteeing that all the recommendations mentioned in the report of inspection commission linked to the authorities are made. The authorities have recently visited the hospital to renew the license for practicing medicine, indicating that the license won't be renewed until meeting the requirements, explaining that the needed maintenance includes the building, as well as suites and medical devices, in addition to radiology and lab services.
