Pakistani Embassy Counsellor Reveals Plan to Construction Pakistani Univ. in Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: Social Affairs Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Bahrain, Maqsood Qadir, announced that there is a plan and endeavors to build a university for the Pakistani community in Bahrain.

In a press statement, the counsellor highlighted that the university's goal is to serve the Pakistani families are forced to send their children back to Pakistan to resume their university studies after failing to be accepted in Bahraini universities.

"There is a difference between the educational systems adopted in both countries, which is causing a problem with receiving accreditation from the competent authorities," he added.

He further stated that there are massive efforts made by the Pakistani ambassador, Said Ahmad Khan, to find an estate appropriate for this important step.

In a previous account, the Pakistani ambassador had stated that the number of Pakistanis in Bahrain reached approximately 100,000, pointing out that this figure shows that they constitute the third largest diaspora, following the Indian and Bengali, whose majority work in the military.
