Bahrain Mirror: Alya Radhi, wife of the Secretary General of Bahrain's main opposition group Al-Wefaq Sheikh Ali Salman, stated on Monday (January 25, 2016) that Sheikh Salman informed her over a phone call that the administration of Jaw Central Prison allowed family calls and visits.
Lawyer Abdullah Al-Shamlawi said that the prison administration postponed the defence team visit scheduled tomorrow, without specifying another date.
The Bahraini authorities had banned Al-Wefaq Secretary-General from visits and calls over tweets published on his personal Twitter account, in which he called for continuing the peaceful struggle to put an end to tribal and sectarian discrimination in Bahrain.
