Bahraini Appeals Court Decides to Rehear Opposition Leader Case to Display Speeches Submitted by the Defence

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Supreme Court of Appeals decided to return the case of the Bahraini opposition leader Al-Wefaq Secretary-General Sheikh Ali Salman for hearing, in order to display a number of CDs submitted by the defence team containing Salman's speeches, and set March 15, 2016 as the next date of the hearing.
The attorney-general at the Public Prosecution Osama Al-Oufi said that Bahrain's Supreme Court of Appeals decided to return the case to hear the defence presented by the lawyers of the appellant before it, and before the Court of First Instance in the case in which the Secretary-General of a political society was prosecuted, in order to watch some CDs showing a number of speeches delivered by the appellant, as well as the CD submitted by the defence team. It scheduled March 15, 2016 for the hearing.
