Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, condemned the "heinous terrorist act" that targeted worshippers at the Imam Ridha Mosque located in the Mahasen area in Al-Ahsa governorate, east of Saudi Arabia.

Al-Wefaq condemned "this brutal anti-Islam and anti-humane action" and stressed that countering terrorism requires hard consistent work in order to eradicate all sources of terrorism and stop all forms of support for terrorism, by putting an end to Takfiri speeches and curricula taught at schools as well as all institutions that work on producing killers and terrorists. Al-Wefaq offered its condolences to the families of the martyrs and asked the Almighty God to heal the injured, protect all Muslim countries and bestow Al-Wefaq: Al-Ahsa Crime Calls for Sincere Efforts to Eradicate Sources of Terrorism
