Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) said on Sunday (March 6, 2016) that the Bahraini authorities prevented union representatives from entering the country because of their stance against labeling Lebanon's Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
In a statement, the UGTT explained: "Both the union's assistant secretary-general of internal organization Noureldeen Al-Tabobi and the assistant secretary-general of the social, health and security department Abdulkareem Jarad were not allowed to enter Bahraini territory, in order to attend the general conference of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions, over the union's initial statement opposing the labeling of Lebanese Hezbollah as a terrorist organization."
Noureldeen Al-Tabobi said that the UGTT doesn't and will not compromise just Arab and national causes and the Bahraini step is but a confirmation that the union is on the right track in service of the Arab peoples' causes.
