Bahrain Mirror: Al-Azhar Al-Sharif announced that Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is paying a visit to Egypt now, vowed to build 30 Azhari institutions across Egypt's provinces.
Hamad bin Isa said that building the Azhari institutions comes in the framework of supporting Al-Azhar's message and its approach that is based on coexistence and tolerance.
However, the Bahraini regime demolished in 2011 about 40 Shiite mosques. Bahrain faces severe criticism from the United Nations Human Rights Council and international organizations for violating religious freedoms of the Shiite majority in the country.
