British Foreign Secretary from Bahrain Welcomed King Hamad's Commitment to Continuing Reform

Bahrain Mirror: British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond met with the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Kahlifa on Monday (May 30, 2016), while the court issued its 9-year jail term against opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman.
In tweets he posted on his personal Twitter account, Hammond welcomed King Hamad's "commitment to continuing reform."
"I raised Sheikh Ali Salman sentence in Bahrain today. I understand that there is a further stage in the legal process and will follow case closely," he said in another tweet.
The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that the king welcomed the British Foreign Secretary and reviewed with him the outstanding long-standing bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
