Bahrain Mirror: Bahrainis launched a hashtag #Help_Bahraini_Prisoners to shed light on the conditions inside Bahraini prisons. About 10,000 tweets were sent under this hashtag, reported the BBC.
"Tweeters expressed their solidarity to those who are described as ‘prisoners of conscience and forcibly disappeared'. Their tweets exposed stories about political prisoners subjected to torture and maltreatment," it added.
"In response, other tweeters denied any violations taking place in Bahraini prisons, accusing the campaigners of inciting hatred against the regime and serving a foreign agenda."
