Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The head of the dissolved Ulama Islamic Council Sayed Majeed Al-Mashaal announced turning the rally held in Diraz into a permanent one, denouncing the revocation of Shiite leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim's citizenship.
"We will not leave this place...If the security forces want to reach Sheikh Isa's home, they have to cross over our bodies," said Al-Mashaal in front of thousands of protestors assembling near Sheikh Qassim's home in Diraz.
Thousands of protestors, including clerics, rallied near Sheikh Qassim's home as soon as the government announced the decision to withdraw his citizenship.
The BBC said that such a decision would lead Bahrain to violence.
