Bahrain Mirror: The Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh denied the information circulated on social media, stating that the Saudi Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain warned its citizens who were visiting Bahrain, confirming that the "embassy didn't issue any statement of this sort."

Al-Sheikh further stated that the embassy didn't receive any complaint from Saudi citizens reporting harassment or assaults, according to the Saudi Al-Riyadh newspaper.

Bahrain has been witnessing high tensions after the authorities launched a widespread campaign against the opposition, represented by the Shiite majority in the country- the campaign included the closure of the island kingdom's main opposition group Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, suspension of two religious Shia societies and revocation of the Shia spiritual leader Sheikh Isa Qassim's nationality.
