Bahrain Mirror: The Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed nationwide protests and demonstrations on Friday (July 1, 2016) as Bahrainis commemorated the International Quds Day which falls on the last Friday of Ramadan.
Hundreds of Bahrainis staged protests since the early hours of the morning in the Bahraini capital Manama and a number of villages across the country to voice their support for the Palestinian cause. Despite their ongoing struggle for democracy, the Bahraini demonstrators stressed that Palestine will remain the central cause.
Demonstrators further expressed their outrage at the British ongoing support for Israel, marching on both the British and Israeli flags.
The regime's security forces used violence to disperse protestors in Nuwaidrat and Sitra, before showering residential areas with toxic tear gas.
