Bahrain Mirror: A court renewed the detention of detainee Taiba Ismail for 15 additional days over the charge of insulting the king.
Taiba appeared before the judge, apologized and demanded her release for being a mother of two children who are under 2 years, according to the Al-Wasat newspaper.
Authorities claim that they received a notice from the directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic stating that "a Twitter user insulted the king and posted malicious tweets that undermine Bahrain's security and stability. Therefore, investigations were launched and the authorities could identify the owner of the account. Arrest and search warrants were issued by the Public Prosecution and the suspect confessed the attributed charges."
