Bahrain Mirror: Members of Iranian Parliament condemned the Bahraini authorities' violation against leader of the Shia sect, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.
In a statement on Wednesday (August 24, 2016), the MPs said that Bahrainis "have been under the oppression and tyranny of Al Khalifa since years. As the Bahrainis are confronting these rulers with patience and determination, the international community stood in a deafening silence and took no action, observing the oppression of Bahraini rulers."
The MPs who signed the statement stressed that "this is a reckless behavior towards Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim. It is also a blatant violation of human rights and citizenship and violation of the Shiites' right to freedom of belief."
The MPs considered that what happened with Ayatollah Sheikh Qassim "an inhumane act that will ignite the flames of Islamic revolution in Bahrain and will cause a destructive uprising against the puppet regime which is ruling the country."
