Bahrain Mirror: The resigned MP and political activist Ali Al-Asheeri demanded to stop the dismounted patrols that wander Al-Dair village and ask the citizens to present their IDs.
Al-Asheeri posted on his Twitter account saying that he saw "the dismounted patrols stopping the youth working in the Imam Al-Muntazar Obsequy in Al-Dair and asking them to present their IDs."
He further stated that what is going on in this time (Ashura) is provocative action, calling on the head of Samaheej police station to issue his orders to stop these patrols.
The security authorities have intensified their campaigns against Shia majority since months, targeting their religious rituals. Clashes broke out between citizens and security forces in several areas after the security authorities took down Ashura banners.
