Bahrain Mirror: Deputy Secretary General of the National Islamic Society al-Wefaq, Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi said that "there is no place for Zionists in Bahrain" and "they are rejected on all levels, as there is no way for normalization or making truce with them", confirming that "this is the decision of the Bahraini people forever."
In a statement issued on Wednesday (October 19), commenting on the Bahraini authorities' decision to allow an Israeli delegation to enter Manama next May, al-Daihi added that "the regime's decision to embrace the Zionists is an illegitimate decision, and does not represent Bahrain, or express the will of the Bahraini people."
Moreover, the Bahraini opposition figure said, "The people of Bahrain have not, and will never abandon the Arab and Muslim cause, through trading with the Palestinian cause and al-Aqsa Mosque. The announcement that the Bahraini regime will host an athletic Zionist delegation does not express the will and decision of the people, because this government does not represent the Bahrainis, as they have not elected it, and [therefore] it does not have the right to work in the name of Bahrain and its people."
"Bahrainis are all with Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque (...). Despite the hard circumstances they face with the regime in light of the oppression, arrests, corruption, injustice, and with the worsening of the lack of legitimacy and trust between the regime and the people, the Bahraini people still adhere to the Arab and Muslim cause, on top of which is the Palestinian cause," Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi went on to say.
Al-Daihi concluded his statement confirming that they "reject that any Zionist steps foot on the land of Bahrain, because it is a strict stance by all its people, Muslims, Christians, and Jews, and all the other sects. [The stance] is the total rejection to have any Zionist enter our pure Bahrain."
