Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Court of "Appeals", presided over by Judge Bader Al-Abdullah, with the membership of judges Wajih al-Shaer and Oman al-Saidi, and secretariat headed by Iman Dismal, amended the verdict ruled against a prisoner convicted with damaging the class barrier of the visiting room. The verdict imprisonment years were decreased from 6 months to 3 months.

The authorities claim that the officer who was in charge of visits in the Jaw Prison reported that the defendant (24 years old), who is imprisoned for charges of assembly, was sitting with his visiting family members. After the visit ended, the prisoner held the chair he was sitting on, and hit the glass barrier installed between his room and the room of the visitors, causing it to break, according to the prison's officer.
