Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Foreign Ministry rejected the content of Amnesty International's report entitled, "Bahrain: Window-Dressing or Pioneers of Change? An Assessment of Bahrain's Human Rights Oversight Bodies", which confirmed the failure of Bahrain's official bodies in maintaining prisoner and detainee rights, especially of those who were subjected to torture.
The Foreign Ministry believed that the report was "inaccurate and selective and full of apparent contradiction". Bahrain's Foreign Ministry then called on "all governmental and non-governmental international organizations to be objective, and adopt constructive criticism as an approach in their positions", Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
