Bahrain Mirror-Exclusive: The Qatari Al-Jazeera channel announced on Tuesday (December 6, 2016) that the Bahraini authorities prevented its staff from covering the Gulf summit hosted by Manama.
Al-Jazeera announced on its breaking news account "the Bahraini authorities prevent Al-Jazeera staff from covering the Gulf summit in Manama".
This is not the first time the Bahraini authorities prevent Al-Jazeera channel from covering the Gulf summits as they refused in December 2012 and August 2013 to allow the channel to cover the summit meetings of the six states.
It is noteworthy mentioning that "Shouting in the Dark" documentary that was produced by Al-Jazeera Channel about the 2011 Bahraini uprising strained relation between Doha and Manama.
