UK Gov’t: Bahrain Spent £16 Thousand to Host British MPs in Manama Dialogue

Bahrain Mirror: A report issued by the British Government indicated that Bahrain spent more than 16 thousand British pounds for hosting 5 UK Members of Parliament from the Conservative Party, at its December 2016 Manama Dialogue Forum.
In its report entitled "REGISTER OF MEMBERS' FINANCIAL INTERESTS", the British government includes a report to the UK House of Representatives on January 9, 2017, concerning the MPs' expenses and amounts they received and spent.
According to the report, the expenses on the British MPs included "flights, hotel accommodation, food, and transport", amounting to "a total value of 3,550 UK Pounds."
Moreover, the report reveals that among the MPs hosted by the Bahraini government were Charlotte Leslie, Sir Hugo Swire, and Kwasi Kwarteng, among others. Their category came under "Visits outside the UK", with details about "Name of donor", "Address of donor(s)", Destination of Visit, Dates of Visit, Purpose of Visit and others.
The report also indicated that the UK MPs had other trips to Bahrain during February 2016 for many purposes, including meeting with Bahraini Ministers and Officials.
