Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahraini protesters, men and women, took to the streets in a mass protest throughout Sitra, East of the capital Manama. They raised slogans against King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the night of Monday (February 13, 2017).
The protest came to mark the eve of the February 14 Revolution anniversary, and denounced the killing of 3 young dissidents, who were trying to flee country by sea, last Thursday February 9, 2017. Moreover, demonstrators called against the authorities' execution of 3 opposition detainees last January, after accusing them of killing an Emirati officer in a blast, during the 3rd commemoration of the February 14 revolution in 2014.
With shouting "Down with Hamad", protesters deemed King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa accountable for the recent killings, which increased since the authorities tightened its security measures against the opposition since June last year.
