Court Hands down 5-Year Jail Term to 2 Suspects over Planting Hoax Bomb in Jid Ali

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and memberships of Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as secretariat, sentenced 2 suspects to 5 years in prison and ordered the confiscation of seized items over putting a hoax bomb in Jid Ali.
The court convicted the suspects because on April 25, 2016 they, along with other unknowns, put a hoax bomb in a public place.
The authorities claim that they received a notice stating that a hoax bomb is found on Street 77 in Jid Ali. The forces moved to the scene and Special Weapons and Tactics team dealt with the body. A witness said that the security cameras in one of the shops screened the two suspects and showed that one of them descended from the car, put a hoax bomb and fled away. It was revealed that the car is for the second suspect's father.
