Court Sentences 2 Suspects to 15&7 Years in Prison, Revokes their Citizenships over Joining “Saraya Al-Mokhtar”

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and memberships of Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as secretariat, sentenced the first suspect to 15 years in prison and the third one to 7 years. The court also handed down 3-year jail term to the fifth suspect, acquitted the second and fourth suspects and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The court also revoked the citizenships of the first and third suspects after convicting them of joining "Saraya Al-Mokhtar" and acquiring arms and ammunitions.
The court acquitted the second and fourth suspects of the charges brought against them. It also acquitted the first suspect of the arson charge and the fifth suspect of joining Saraya Al-Mokhtar. It sentenced the first suspect to 15 years in prison and the third to 7 years over joining the group and acquiring arms. The court handed down 3-year jail term to the fifth suspect over acquiring ammunitions, revoked the citizenships of the first and third suspects and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
