2 Suspects Receive 3&5-Year Jail Term over Planting Hoax Bomb in Budai Street

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's High Criminal Court sentenced a suspect to 5 years in prison and another one to 3 years and ordered the confiscation of seized items over a case of planting hoax bomb and acquiring Molotov in Budai Street.
The court said that due to the circumstances of the case and given that the suspects are under 18, their sentence was commuted pursuant to article 70/71 of the penal code.
The Public Prosecution accused the suspects of deliberately setting fire to tires, along with other unknowns, on June 10, 2016, in Maqaba village for a terrorist aim, planting a hoax bomb on a public street for a terrorist aim and acquiring, along with others, Molotov, aiming at using them to endanger people's lives and money.
