Court Upholds 3-Year Jail Term against Teacher for Hiding 3 Wanted over Political Cases

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as secretariat upheld 3-year jail term against a teacher over hiding 3 convicts.
The First High Criminal Court had sentenced a teacher and cleric to 3 years in prison over hiding 3 convicts.
The court convicted the suspects because in 2013, the first suspect hid 3 convicts.
The authorities claim that the second suspect (a cleric) found outside Bahrain asked the first suspect (a teacher) to rent an apartment to hide the 3 convicts who are sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The first suspect rented an apartment in Sitra for 200 BD where he hid the convicts for about 5 months, noting that the second suspect used to send the money for the first one.
