Appeals Court Upholds 10-Year Jail Term against Suspect in Assembly Case in Manama

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as secretariat ignored the objection of a suspect sentenced to 10 years in prison over assembling. The first-instance court had sentenced 3 suspects to 3 years in prison and another one to 10 years.
A police station received a notice stating that unknowns set fire to a water insulator, container and a tire and put a hoax bomb on Isa Al-Kabeer street. The investigations carried out by a captain in the ministry of interior led to the first and second suspects who took part in the incident. Thus, the public prosecution issued an arrest warrant against them and while questioning them, they admitted taking part in the incident and confessed about the third and fourth suspects.
