Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Paul Ryan and chairman of the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee Ed Royce, as part of his current official visit to the United States of America.

In his meeting with the U.S. House of Representatives, the Bahraini FM commended "the progress of the historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America" and valued the role of the United States in "strengthening international peace and security".

In the same context, the Bahraini minister met the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee Ed Royce expressed his pride and appreciation of the efforts and support of Ed Royce in "strengthening cooperation and cementing ties between the two countries at political, Military and economic domains."
