AFP Photographer Mohammed Al-Shaikh Released One Day after his Arrest

Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities released on Thursday (March 23, 2017) the AFP photographer Mohammed Al-Shaikh who was arrested one day ago upon returning from private vacation in India.
Al-Shaikh's family confirmed that it received a phone call stating he was released.
The Bahraini authorities refused to renew permits of 3 foreign agencies' journalists, among the journalists were Agence France-Presse (AFP) photographer, Mohammed Al-Shaikh, Associated Press (AP) photographer and the France 24 correspondent.
Yesterday, Committee to Protect Journalists issued a statement demanding Al-Shaikh's immediate and unconditional release and condemning his arrest upon his arrival from a vacation and not allowing him to meet his lawyer.
