Bahrain Mirror: 6 months passed on the employees of the Northern governorate municipality, without them taking their salaries from the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning.
Member of the Municipal Council, Fatima al-Qatar, noted during the council's regular session on Monday (April 3, 2017), the suffering of the 8 temporary employees. She also indicated the Minister of Works' promises to cover housing services for these employees, yet their problem continues without even getting paid their salaries.
The council called on the Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to interfere and address the problem, which is resulting in halting a household income for more than 6 months.
