Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Interior said that installing surveillance cameras outside residential apartment comes as part of an enhancement and development scheme for housing buildings in Salmabad. It noted that it comes in line with many demands of a large number of beneficiaries who will be end users to these projects.
Moreover, the Ministry said it was careful to place cameras fat from apartment doors to guarantee privacy of residents. It asserted that expert technicians supervised installing the cameras to ensure they don't breach residents' privacy.
The Ministry further noted that after the projects are completed, the control of the cameras and surveillance would be completely managed by each building on its own, or by the committee appointed by the building's residents.
