Bahrain Denies Entry of HRW Israel and Palestine Director

Bahrain Mirror: Human Rights Watch Israel and Palestine Director Omar Shakir said that the Bahraini authorities prevented him from entering the country as he was intending to take part in pressuring on FIFA Congress.
Shakir said in a tweet that he intended to visit Bahrain to "pressure on the FIFA Congress to stop sponsoring games in illegal Israeli settlements," adding that "the horizon of human rights defenders is shrinking" in Bahrain.
