Bahrain Mirror: Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Ronald Neumann, President of the American Academy of Diplomacy, board member of the Middle East Policy Council and former US ambassador to Bahrain.

The minister lauded the "special efforts exerted by Ambassador Neumann to boost relations between Bahrain and the US and his keenness on communicating and consulting steadily with Bahrain over several issues, wishing him further success."

Neumann met Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman during the past two days.

Neumann has a number of criticizing articles to Al Khalifa regime, over oppressing the pro-democracy protests. He also has a number of interviews in which he defended the Bahraini regime.
