Bahrain Mirror: The Court of Appeals rejected the objection presented by a defendant on a verdict issued against him (i.e. imprisoning him to 5 years) and upheld a 5-year jail term against another over assembling, setting fire and acquiring Molotov in Al-Nuaim village.
The First High Criminal Court had sentenced 3 defendants to 5 years in prison over assembling and deliberately setting fire and sentenced the fourth defendant to 3 years in prison. The court, meanwhile, acquitted another defendant of the charges brought against him due to lack of evidence.
The regime courts convicted the suspects after accusing them from the second till the fifth of assembling and attacking policemen using Molotov in Al-Nuaim on February 14, 2014.
