Bahrain Mirror: The British "The Independent" newspaper said that the proposed slashes to the US' diplomacy and foreign aid budgets cut aids to several Middle East countries.
The plans, first announced in March, aim to reduce spending on the State Department and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) by 28%, while increasing funds for military programs.
The plan drops Bahrain's security assistance to 86%.
The newspaper said that Congress is highly unlikely to approve the Trump administration's proposals in their current form.
