Bahraini FM Minister Meets his UK Counterpart, Minister of State for Middle East at FCO

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Boris Johnson, on his official visit to the United Kingdom.
During his meeting with Johnson, the Bahraini minister stressed "the importance of continuing and enhancing cooperation and coordination, in light of the recent challenges facing the region and the world, primarily terrorism, the increasing threat of terrorist organizations as well as the priority to deter those who support, finance and harbour them."
Johnson affirmed the UK's "keenness to communicate and coordinate with Bahrain in order to enhance the security and stability of the region."
In the same context, Khalid Al Khalifa met the Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Alistair Burt. Al Khalifa expressed his hope to continue their cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries and to strengthen coordination frameworks in all international forums.
Burt praised the progressing and wide cooperation between the two friendly countries, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
