Ibtisam Al-Saegh Calls Family amid Extreme State of Distress

Bahrain Mirror: The family of detained activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh expressed deep concern over her health after a phone call, during which she seems in distress.
Al-Saegh was subjected to torture and sexual harassment when she was arrested last May.
The human rights defender called her family briefly and asked for his personal belongings and some money. Her family said Al-Saegh seemed in an extreme state of distress.
According to information, she was subject hours-long interrogations in the absence of her lawyer, and she was placed in solitary confinement in the Criminal Investigations Building (the intelligence).
