Bahrain Mirror: Deputy Secretary-General of Al-Menbar Islamic Society (Muslim Brotherhood) Nasser Al-Fadala broke his silence and criticized the stance of some Gulf governments towards the Qatari row.
Al-Fadala posted on his own Twitter account on (July 6, 2017) saying: "people of Gulf proved they are wiser than governors. While governors fuel hostility, people are calming the situation down and work for unity."
However, it seems that he deleted the tweet after some Gulf accounts attacked him.
In the same context, Al-Fadala deleted a previous tweet in which he criticized the UAE role in Yemen. He wrote on (July 6, 2017): "there was a tweet about Anwar Eshki and I retweeted it by mistake. I then deleted the retweet so that is not considered as a stimulation for agitation and sedition. I am sorry for that."
The tweet attributed to the former Saudi general Anwar Eshki read "UAE funded Huthis and gave them large amounts of money".
Although he deleted this tweet, Gulf accounts posted more of Al-Fadala previous tweets in which he attacked the UAE role in Yemen and Libya. Al-Fadala said in one of the tweets "While Qatar exerts effort to spread Islam in Libya and reconciled tribes, the little cat is busy adding fuel to the fire and pampering Haftar with billions," in a reference to the support the Libyan military Khalifa Haftar, head of the Libyan National Army, receives.
He stated in another tweet "Yemenis, Saudis, Sudanese, Qataris, Bahrainis and maybe Moroccans will liberate Yemen. There is no place to the little cats that got used to plotting and treachery."
Al-Fadala, a former MP, commented on the campaign against him saying "When brothers of Prophet Yousif had interest with their father they said: Our brother Yousif and when they had no more interest they said: Your son Yousif. Speech change when interests change."
