Bahrain: State Budget Still Needs King’s Signature 6 Months after Onset of Financial Year

Bahrain Mirror: Shura Council passed in its session on Sunday (July 16, 2017) the draft-law on the general state budget for the two fiscal years 2017 and 2018.
The state's budget still needs the king's ratification to be passed, after a 6-month delay since the beginning of the fiscal year.
Expected deficit in 2017 budget exceeds 10 billion BD amid deterioration in the country's economic conditions and oil price decline.
