Decision to Add Fees on Bahraini Pilgrims who Already Performed Hajj Suspended

Bahrain Mirror: A number of Bahraini campaign owners said that they received text messages from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj stating that they suspended the decision of extra fees on the Bahraini pilgrims who have already performed the Hajj pilgrimage.
According to the Al-Ayam newspaper, the campaign owners said that the suspended decision is temporary and that it is expected to be executed starting next year, allowing each pilgrim to perform Hajj once each 5 years.
Yesterday, head of Bahrain commission for pilgrimage Sheikh Adnan Al-Qattan said that the commission received a notice from Saudi Ministry of Hajj adding 2000 Saudi Riyals as fees, i.e. 200 BD for each pilgrim who had already performed Hajj during the past 5 years, indicating that they will start working on it during this year and the payment will via Saudi online channels.
