Dr. Taha Al-Dirazi Released after Serving his Prison Term over Diraz Protest

Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities released on Saturday (August 12, 2017) neurosurgeon Dr. Taha Al-Dirazi after serving 6-month jail term over Diraz Protest.
The authorities accused dozens of Shiite activists and clerics of taking part in unlicensed assembly in Diraz and sentenced then to various prison terms.
Citizens held open sit-in outside the house of spiritual leader of Shia majority Sheikh Isa Qassim on June 20, 2016, protesting against targeting Sheikh Qassim and revoking his citizenship.
The authorities forcibly dispersed Diraz protest on May 23, 2017 which left 5 killed, dozens injured and about 300 arrested.
